I have been fascinated with the past all my life. Although time travel is not possible (at least, as far as I know), we can still experience it through what I call "relics of the fourth dimension." Namely, as the old saying goes, "time marches on." We can't travel in the fourth dimension, except going forward in the present, but we can follow the trail of the fourth dimension. Along the way, people lose or discard items from their being. These relics are unintentional time capsules that give us as glimpse into their lives. Here on The Time Searchers blog, I will show some relics of the past that I have run across in our present. Sometimes when I am out on a relic hunt with the Colonial Relic Hunter, we know that we are not alone. There is more than just relics at these historical sites. Indeed, it could be said that there is a portal to the past, perhaps to another dimension, where that which once was, still is. A place where the real consorts with the shadows; the present fuses with the past, on Time Searchers: Ghost Relics.

WORLD WAR TWO GERMAN ME109, FW190 HOHENMESSER ALTIMETER

HERE'S SOME PHOTOS OF A WORLD WAR TWO GERMAN MESSERSCHMITT ME109, FOCKE WULF FW190 FIGHTER PLANE ALTIMETER.  USED IN SOME OTHER GERMAN AIRPLANES TOO.  AT THE TIME  I FOUND THIS PIECE RECENTLY, IT WAS LIKE SEEING AN OLD FRIEND AGAIN.  WHEN I WAS A KID, MY DAD HAD ANTIQUE CAR, MOTORCYCLE AND AIRPLANE PARTS ALL OVER OUR HOUSE.  WHETHER IT WAS A PART OFF A 1910 LOCOMOBILE OR A STUDEBAKER FROM THE 1960'S.  IT WAS A PART OF HISTORY THAT TOLD A STORY.  IT WAS SOMETHING THAT YOU COULD HOLD IN YOUR HAND.  FOR ME IT BROUGHT HISTORY ALIVE.  I WAS PRIVILEGED TO KNOW AND INTERVIEW SOME WORLD WAR ONE AND WORLD WAR TWO VETS INCLUDING SOME PILOTS.  I WILL ALWAYS TREASURE THESE MEMORIES AND HONOR THESE GUYS FOR WHAT THEY STOOD FOR.
I HAVE BEEN VERY BUSY LATELY AND I HAVE NOT HAD THE TIME TO PUT UP ANY BLOG ENTRIES LATELY.  THERE IS A TON OF PHOTOS AND VIDEOS OF OUR LATEST RELIC HUNTING TO PUT UP.  THE COLONIAL RELIC HUNTER AND I DID A RELIC RECON TRIP EARLIER THIS MONTH TO FIND SOME COLONIAL LOG CABINS SITE AND
WE ENDED UP CHEWED UP BY INSECTS AND WORSE OF ALL HAD A RUN IN WITH SOME DEER TICKS WHICH FORTUNATELY NEITHER OF ENDED UP GETTING LIME DISEASE.  BE CAREFUL IN THE WOODS AND USE THE INSECT AND TICK SPRAYS, THEY LITERALLY CAN BE A LIFE SAVER.  I WILL DO MY BEST TO GET SOME GREAT RELIC VIDEOS UP.  I THANK OUR SUPPORTERS FOR THE INTEREST IN OUR DVDS ON AMAZON AND WE WILL BE PRODUCING NEW DVD SHOWS. THANKS-THE TIME SEARCHER.
